SAVING THE LIVES OF ARRESTED PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATORS

Updated Jan 2024: Stop the violence against peaceful civil protests in Iran!

On 17 September 2022, the 40 years of pent-up anger amongst the Iranian people, especially women, finally exploded. The day before, Mahsa Amini, 22, was beaten on the head with a truncheon by the regime’s so-called morality guards – she suffered a severe skull fracture and died shortly thereafter. Mahsa’s murder was the spark that incited hundreds of thousands of Iranian citizens, led by women, to organize protests in more than 215 cities, an open outcry aimed at defending the basic human rights of Mahsa and all women, all youth, and all people in Iran.

The protestors demand freedom, equality, human rights, and an end to Iran’s religious fundamentalist dictatorship. With extraordinary courage, women are the leaders and pioneers of these mass demonstrations – women who have nothing to lose and everything to gain by collectively giving voice to their resentment against this despotic regime.

The mullah regime has responded to the peaceful protests of the population by perpetrating more violence than ever before. With the intent to kill demonstrators, the government’s repressive forces are using live ammunition against people, and in some cities they even shot at the peaceful protesters from helicopters. So far, more than 750 people have been killed and more than 30,000 arrested by the dictatorship – and the numbers are increasing every day. The women and youth taken into custody are beaten and tortured by prison personnel.

THE IRANIAN PEOPLE NEED OUR SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE MORE THAN EVER BEFORE.

Please donate today!

Together with the families of the victims, we have been campaigning for the freedom of innocent women and young people since the beginning of the demonstrations, this by means of conferences, vigils, protest actions and public relations efforts via satellite channels – especially when the regime shuts down the Internet in Iran.

With our years of experience in furthering this cause, we can save the lives of many innocent people and spare them from the threat of execution and torture.

TO FURTHER OUR LIFE-SAVING CAMPAIGN, WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT. PLEASE LEND AS MUCH HELP AS YOU CAN TO THE INNOCENT, BRAVE WOMEN AND YOUNG PEOPLE OF IRAN.

Help us

  • To rescue prisoners facing execution and overturn death sentences
  • End torture and inhumane treatment by the regime's repressive forces.
  • Enforce women's rights and stop the repression against women.
