With the help of the public activities of Welle Association and other human rights organizations, Jafar Azimzadeh, a human rights and workers activist, was released from prison after several years.
Jafar Azimzadeh was released on April 10, 2021. He is the coordinator of the petition of 40,000 workers and a well-known activist of the Iranian labor movement. He was released after the tireless efforts of Verein Welle and international and labor organizations
