We are very pleased that human rights activities and international pressure have been successful. In August, Zahra Zahtabchi, a sociologist and social researcher and mother of two daughters, was released from prison after 15 years. Her children, Narges and Mina, were 20 and 11 at the time of their mother's arrest . Zahra's father, Ali Asghar Zahtabchi, was also a victim of the Muhllah regime and was executed in previous years for his human rights activities .
