Ghasem Fouladvand

We are very pleased to inform you that our human rights work has continued to be successful: Ghasem Fuladvand, human rights activist, was released from prison after 10 years of imprisonment and torture. Fatemeh Mosanna and Hassan Sadeghi were also released after more than 8 years in prison. The couple and their two children were arrested simply because Hassan had held a funeral for his father, an opponent of the mullahs' regime . They were both sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment. In addition, the door to their home was sealed and their property confiscated, including Hassan Sadeghi's business and their private home. We congratulate their families and you, our dear friends, on the release of these prisoners. Any news of freedom is a source of hope for the Iranian people and for all of us.
